Born January 6, 1983, she, like every girl
dreamed of walking with a unicorn.
While in reality she was a teacher
and looked like this
Erin Ward taught kindergartners.
Taught them the very fundamentals of life;
Like being responsible, and admitting when they were wrong.
But then one day . . .
. . . She was gone.
The unicorn of her dreams stared out over the horizon.
While one part of him was looking for her,
another part knows that she was now gone . . .
. . . forever.
Unfortunately, on October 6, 2006, while on her way to work,
there was someone that didn't learn these fundamentals;
they crashed into her car and then drove away so that they
could avoid being held accountable for their actions.
Words from Ashley (her cousin)
You were amazing to me.
The light from your heart could light anyone's life.
And your smile on your face could always brighten my day.
You were always there whenever anyone needed you.
You were just such a great person. The one I wanted to be.
You only wished to make a difference in the lives of others, and that you did.
Know that you certainly made a big difference in mine. I miss you so much.
Thank you so much for being a part of my life and the lives of so many others.

Ashley has shown just how much Erin meant to her by creating this video
"In Loving Memory of Erin Nicole Ward"
Erin is missed so very much.
If by no one else, then by the one she effected the most, Ashley.
"She was a teacher, through and through. That's what she wanted to be.
She always had a love and a gift with kids," according to a friend Katie Secor.
Now her light shines at night in the sky, shared with all who knew her.
If you would care to leave a thought for Erin,
or to light a candle in her memory,
