In Honor and Loving Memory of
Mick Ridley
April 25, 1952 ~ July 1, 2007
Could these have been his Spirit Guides?
Could this have been what he saw when he crossed over?

283* As the sun set on Saturday 14th July 2007 we scattered Mick's ashes at The Rollright Stones in Oxford,
a very special and sacred place where Mick always felt calm and peaceful.
I visited the stone circle alone earlier in the day to ask permission from the
Spirits and the Guardian of the Circle for permission to scatter his ashes at this sacred site.
As a sign of their permission I asked for a spectacular sunset to mark the occasion and
I think the photograph shows that permission was granted, as the skies glowed.
What can I say about someone that I didn't even know? Or does that even matter?
For haven't we all had those that we held close to our hearts.
They have come to us, seemingly out of nowhere with smiling eyes and invited us in.
Graciaously we accept, and once accepted, the bonding begins just as with the wolves.
They become like family, we listen to their words and we share both their pain and their joy.
When we have not heard from them from them in awhile, just like the wolves howl, we call out.
And just like the wolves, a day comes when we call and call, but they do not answer, for they are gone.
Be sad at Mick's passing, yet, I believe that he would not wish us to be sad too long.
For when he was here, just as we now miss him, he missed those that passed before him.
So, I think he would want those that have happy memories to remember them.
Be happy that Mick shared his life with you, rather than being sad that he's gone.
Share what memories you have with the others that knew him, so that they might know him better.
Be sad at Mick's passing, yet, I believe that he would not wish us to be sad too long.
Honor him by being like the wolf that I've been told he loved so greatly.
Cry out your sadness, tell the world of your loss just as a pack would.
But remember that the pack, once done, moves on to the trail to hunt and feed the cubs
Please don't, as I have, get so lost in the mourning that you forget to take care of the cubs.
This is a Memorial Video that Nessa created for her husband.
It clearly shows the union of their spirits.
So hard it is to live on when someone that is so a part of you is torn away.
(Nessa, you know I know how hard this be, for you have been shown more of me than some)
