Princess Diana Frances Spencer departed from our lives on August 31, 1997.

At her funeral Elton John played a rendition of "Candle in the Wind" titled "English Rose".
Likely due to the fact that Princess Diana's favorite flowers were white roses.
For this service to his country, he was granted knighthood and is since dubbed Sir Elton John.

Just over two and a half billion people viewed the funeral procession as it slowly made its way through London on the way to her final resting place - an island on the Spencer Estate named The Oval.

She was truely a heroine in her time. Someone to be honored and appreciated for the things she did or tried to do. There are some that say that she didn't really care about this or that, but isn't it the effort that should be measured.

How many of us get this or that accomplished in the world? For that matter, how many of us even put forth the effort?

It isn't my intention to offend or belittle anyone, I simply want
Princess Diana remembered for both her endeavors and efforts along with her many accomplishments.

I miss her deeply.

I will gladly add a candle for you.
